This Chapter was started in 2001 by Jay Casiano going to the Star National office
and requesting some information on Star Chapters in the Pocono Area, there
were none. A start up package was sent to Jay and he became the Area
Coordinator for Chapter 204. The first call he received was from Al Donadio who
was interested in the New Chapter. Jay & Aldo put up some flyers around
Stroudsburg & East Stroudsburg Pa. and the first meet & greet was held in
Comptons Pancake House in Stroudsburg Pa. It was not a meeting since we were
not a "Chapter" yet. The Charter was signed in Dec '01 and we began with 14
members. We were the 1st Star Touring Chapter in Eastern Pa.
The rest is history and a mystery of what is yet to come.................
